About the Role:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Lincolnshire. As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will provide targeted support to students with Special Educational Needs, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with a variety of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Implement personalized learning strategies and interventions to meet individual student requirements.
  • Support the classroom teacher in adapting lessons and resources to suit the needs of SEN students.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional support to help students succeed in an inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster supportive and encouraging relationships with students, staff, and families.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential.
  • Possession of a Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 1/2/3) is desirable but not essential if you have relevant SEN experience.
  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS check registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one through the agency.
  • A 10-year career history check and two years of referenceable work history.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
