Job Description

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to lead our kitchen team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals to our high standards. You'll work closely with our Head Chef to ensure that every dish is prepared to perfection and that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals to our menu specifications
  • Lead and motivate our kitchen team to achieve our high standards
  • Work closely with our Head Chef to ensure kitchen efficiency and quality
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Follow best practices for food safety and allergen control

What We're Looking For
  • Previous kitchen experience, either as a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant/Commis Chef, or this might be something brand new to you
  • Driven and relentless, with a positive can-do attitude
  • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to all things allergens, kitchen essentials, and food safety
