Responsibilities:

* Support Desk Operations: Provide close support to the desk on issues related to market data, manage BAU activities, and handle small projects to meet broader business needs.
* Innovative Solutions: Propose new processes, tools, and approaches to solve business problems and enhance user experiences.
* Functional Specifications: Define new functionality required by projects across front, middle, and back offices.
* Issue Investigation: Investigate complex functional software issues, perform root cause analysis, and establish effective solutions.
* Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, flagging major issues early.
* On-Call Participation: Participate in on-call rotations until 11pm CET (Mon-Fri) one day out of five.

Qualifications:

* Financial Market Experience: Previous experience with financial market domain companies such as funds, investment banks, brokers, market infrastructure, and data/platform vendors.
* Technical Expertise: Strong background in SQL and data interrogation, with hands-on experience in Python.
* Asset Class Knowledge: Experience with different asset classes (Equities, Bonds, Derivatives) and a solid understanding of their features and life cycle.
* Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel functionalities.
* Market Data Systems: Familiarity with market data systems and financial data providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, S&P, etc.
