We're seeking a talented Senior Delivery Lead to join our Development Team at Pets at Home. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in launching our new Petcare digital platform and guiding a talented software development team.

About the Role

As a Senior Delivery Lead, you'll be responsible for leading and inspiring your squad to deliver top-notch software using agile methods. You'll work closely with teams and stakeholders across the business to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of the best possible solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire your team to deliver high-quality software using agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of software solutions.
  • Oversee the deployment of new features, ensuring they're released smoothly and securely into testing and production.
  • Mentor and support your team members, helping them stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Work closely with our Product Owner to plan and prioritize new features and roadmap future developments.

What We're Looking For

  • Agile Expertise: You have extensive experience with Agile practices and methodologies, including SCRUM and Kanban.
  • Team Leadership: You're skilled at leading and motivating teams to achieve their best work.
  • Software Delivery: You've managed software development teams and delivered large-scale software projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Problem-Solving: You're adept at finding creative solutions to complex problems and removing blockers to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Tech Savviness: You're familiar with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing, and can apply them to a high-transaction retail environment.

Location: Our hybrid setup means you'll spend two days a week in our Handforth (Cheshire) Support Office, with the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.
