We're seeking a skilled Senior Delivery Lead to join our Development Team at Pets at Home. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in launching our new Petcare digital platform and guiding a talented software development team.

About the Role

As a Senior Delivery Lead, you'll be responsible for leading and inspiring your team to deliver top-notch software using agile methods. You'll work closely with teams and stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth delivery and the best possible solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate your team to deliver high-quality software on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Mentor and support your team members, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Work closely with our Product Owner to plan and prioritize new features and roadmap.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the team is set up for success.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading software development teams and delivering large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with SCRUM and Kanban frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Location: Our hybrid setup means you'll spend two days a week in our Handforth (Cheshire) Support Office, with the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.
