About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Senior Mental Health Professional. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and staff.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to individuals and teams across the Trust. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based interventions, promote staff well-being, and contribute to the development of organisational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for staff members and teams.
  • Develop and deliver bespoke training programs, workshops, and supervision sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of organisational policies, procedures, and guidelines related to staff mental health and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify and address staff mental health concerns, providing proactive support and intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, interventions, and outcomes, using data to inform practice and service development.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A doctoral-level qualification in Applied Psychology (or equivalent) and HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist.
  • Post-doctoral training in additional specialised areas of psychological practice (desirable).
  • Experience of working with adults with mild to moderate mental health problems or in an acute hospital setting.
  • Ability to adapt evidence-based interventions to meet the needs of NHS staff with complex mental health difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
