About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a highly specialist psychological care consultant, you will work with adults presenting with possible autistic spectrum conditions. Your main duties will include providing high-quality assessments and developing service provision that meets the needs of individuals querying an autism diagnosis.

Job Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, integrating data from various sources, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with other professionals.
  • You will exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, therapeutic treatment, and discharge of adults and their families/carers.
  • You will undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual service users and provide advice on psychological aspects of risk assessment and risk management to less experienced psychologists and other professionals.
