Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Cast UK Limited. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logistics and supply chain management services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report Daily Spend & Service Analysis: Provide regular reports to the General Manager on daily spend and service analysis using designated Contract Performance Reports.
- Manage Service Delivery: Ensure that our services are delivered in line with customer expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Customer Service: Respond to customer queries via email and phone, resolve issues, and communicate with the General Manager as required.
- Uniform Management: Ensure that all drivers are in full uniform and manage the uniform budget.
- Company Standards: Drive and enforce company standards and protocols to ensure they are being met.
- Rota Management: Monitor driver rotas and ensure that holidays are covered without exceeding set salary budgets.
- Contract Delivery: Deliver and maximize on each contract.
- System Management: Oversee and utilize all systems and software to manage driver behavior, take corrective action for driving issues and speeding.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure that all van and driver information is shared to facilitate smooth booking and allocation across the business.
Requirements:
- Operations Management Experience: Proven experience in operations management and a passion for logistics and operations.
- Decision-Making: Ability to make decisive decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership: Ability to bring the team along on a journey of change.
- Excel Skills: Strong Excel skills.
- Leadership and Autonomy: Strong leadership and ability to work autonomously.
- Organizational and Leadership Skills: Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Team Management: Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
