We are currently recruiting for an Environmental Officer to join our team in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our client.
About the JobThis full-time, permanent position offers a chance to work in a complex, commercial, multi-divisional organisation and be part of a dynamic team that delivers high-quality results. As an Environmental Officer, you will be responsible for effectively managing and co-ordinating environmental activities for the company, both at the head office and on site at clients.
Responsibilities- Manage and co-ordinate environmental activities for the company.
- Support the contracts/construction team by producing and delivering environmental plans.
- Maintain and improve our UKAS accredited ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in environmental management.
- Strong understanding of environmental principles and practices.
- IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
