About Palliative Care

Palliative care focuses on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness. As a Healthcare Legacy Mentor, you will be part of a skilled team that provides exceptional care and support in people's last year of life and at end of life. Our clinical service area covers a mixture of urban and rural communities.

The job responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Learners - internal staff and student placements
  • Seeking learning opportunities through external outreach for staff and students
  • Providing Pastoral Support
  • Organisational Support - Acting as an ambassador for palliative and end of life services and participating in outreach activities on behalf of the organisation
  • Supporting Staff Health and Wellbeing

The required qualifications include:

  • Registered Professional
  • Teaching Qualification
  • Palliative Care Qualification
  • Advanced Communication Skills Training
  • Coaching

The estimated salary for this position is £**55,000 - £60,000 per annum**, depending on experience.
