Job Title: Coffee Shop AssistantWe are seeking a bright, passionate, and confident individual to join our team as a Coffee Shop Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service while waiting on tables, supporting events, and answering telephone enquiries.
- Prepare food and drinks, ensuring temperatures meet company Food Safety guidelines.
- Clear tables, wash up, and engage with customers to create a positive experience.
- Support the manager/supervisor in handling customer complaints and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Use the work laptop as necessary and check slack and emails regularly for communications.
- Take delivery of goods from the wholesale unit, display, and report any shortages.
- Stock rotation, check dates on products, and display products and prices.
- Amend the menu board with specials and remove out-of-stock items.
- Conduct fridge checks and temperature checks on delivery.
- Ensure the coffee shop is clean and tidy, with sugar bowls, clean tables, and other essentials in place.
- Work with initiative as part of a team, demonstrating a calm, cheerful, and helpful disposition.
- Adhere to Honesty Shop standards, respecting food safety and health and safety requirements.
