Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team in the North London / Essex area. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing a directly employed trades team who are dealing with insurance restoration reinstatement projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Surveying properties, diagnosing defects, and scoping/estimating repair works
- Scheduling and programming the relevant trades to complete the works
- Overseeing projects from inception to completion, including site audits
- Managing resources to ensure profit and productivity targets are met
- Financial responsibilities include checking material costs against budget, dealing with pricing adjustments, and ensuring a good profit margin is met
- Ensuring Health & Safety/CDM regulations and legislation are followed
- Liaison with loss adjusters, insurers, and policyholders throughout projects
- A proven track record of producing accurate scope of works on private domestic property repairs (insurance works)
- An excellent knowledge of trades and relevant costs within this industry and the ability to understand/interpret and produce an accurate schedule of works
- A strong knowledge of current H & S / CDM legislation
- Good IT skills, experience of Symbility, Xactware, or similar is essential
- Full driving license (car or allowance provided)
- Salary between £45k-£47k, depending on experience
- Company car (or car allowance)
