About the Role
Grosvenor Casinos is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team in Plymouth. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for managing the finances of the club, ensuring accurate accounting for all transactions, and adhering to all gambling regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Acknowledge and welcome customers at the Cash Desk, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Live our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.
- Collaborate with the cash desk and wider casino team to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Comply with all company procedures and regulations, including the Gambling Act and its regulations, to maintain the reputation of the company.
- Recommend the loyalty program to customers, promoting a positive and engaging experience.
- Support with cash and asset counts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain thorough records and accounts of all operations in the cash desk, adhering to the cash desk manual and requests from the head cashier.
- Report to the head cashier, providing regular updates and insights.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
