Job Title: Neurology Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Neurology Consultant to join our team at Mid Yorkshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Neurology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Main Duties:
  • Providing specialist care to patients with neurological conditions
  • Leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals
  • Developing and implementing clinical policies and guidelines
  • Participating in education and training programs for medical staff
Person Specification:
  • Essential:
    • Full GMC Registration with licence to practise
    • Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register for Neurology or within 6 months of obtaining CCT (or CESR / equivalent)
  • Desirable:
    • Computer literate
    • Specific educational interests and evidence of educational ideas or project work
Qualifications:
  • Essential:
    • Medical Degree from recognised medical school
    • MRCP or equivalent
    • MRCP- SCE in Neurology
  • Desirable:
    • Higher degree: PhD/MD/ M.Sc.
    • Fellowship in a Sub-specialty
    • Publications in peer reviewed journals
