Role Description

The A&I Senior Practitioner will play a key role in the MASH Team, working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality services to children and families in need.

Main Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of complex cases, including Child Protection Assessments.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that they meet Council expectations and policies.
  • Professional Development: Identify areas for professional development within the team, providing opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The following KPIs will be used to measure the success of the A&I Senior Practitioner:

  • Casework Management: Ensure that all cases are managed effectively, with clear plans and interventions in place.
  • Team Performance: Monitor and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Professional Development: Facilitate professional development opportunities within the team, ensuring that staff have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of complex case management and Child Protection Assessments.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Qualifications: A relevant social work qualification, such as a Diploma or Degree in Social Work.

Working Hours

The A&I Senior Practitioner will work a standard 37-hour week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
