The Holden School is a specialist day school for boys and girls aged 4 to 16, catering for pupils with a wide range of needs in Lancashire, Manchester, and surrounding areas.

Job Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Physical Education Teacher to join our fantastic team at The Holden School.

The successful candidate will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupil's achievement and ability to develop, supported by the school and Outcomes First Group's national support team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality physical education lessons to pupils with a wide range of needs
  • Develop and implement individualised curriculums for pupils
  • Work collaboratively with the pastoral team and therapists to support pupils' emotional and social development
  • Contribute to the development of the school's physical education program
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience of working with SEMH pupils is highly desirable
  • Ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils
