Senior Building Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Brandon James Ltd in Wakefield. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading a variety of projects across sectors including MoD, MoJ, industrial & warehouse, and office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Work closely with a sociable and close-knit team to deliver professional services including dilapidations, condition reports, party wall, defect analysis, measured surveys, and acquisition surveys.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Contribute to the development of the team, providing guidance and support to junior colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure the team's expertise and knowledge are current.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in building surveying, with a strong track record of project delivery and team leadership.
  • MRICS qualification is preferred, but not essential.
  • Previous consultancy experience is beneficial, but not required.
