Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced School Administrator to support our alternative provision school with general administrative tasks. As a part-time member of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling telephone calls, and dealing with face-to-face enquiries.

Responsibilities:
  • To answer telephone calls, respond to queries, and transfer calls or take messages as necessary.
  • To provide a first point of contact for visitors to the school, answering questions and directing them to relevant personnel.
  • To record pupil attendance using manual and computerized records in a timely manner.
  • To maintain awareness of your responsibility for the Health & Safety of yourself and others.
Working Arrangements:

This is a fixed-term contract until Christmas, working 17.5 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday, 8:30am-12:30pm) with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is up to £12.80 per hour, reflecting the skills and experience required.
