About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the management of major transactions, including M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, and complex procurements. This role involves deal origination and execution, liaising with key investors, senior internal stakeholders, external advisors, and government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute deals to achieve best value for money
  • Manage the delivery of business cases and liaise with stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes
  • Conduct detailed analysis to maximise value and develop financial models and options analysis
  • Identify and manage risks, and build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and report progress, and manage budgets
Requirements
  • Education to degree level in a relevant field with equivalent experience
  • Successful experience working at a senior or professional level in a similar role
  • Demonstrable track record of successful Merger and Acquisitions (M&A)
  • Proven successful history of structuring and executing complex transactions
  • Advanced financial modelling skills
  • Detailed knowledge of UK legislation, regulation and practice on government procurement laws, private financing
