About the Role

This Radar Project Assurance Lead position offers a unique chance to join our team in Edinburgh and contribute to the success of our Airborne Radar Quality Assurance Team. The role requires strong leadership skills, ability to drive progress and manage Operational and IPT risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of all assurance activities defined by the IPT, ensuring they remain relevant in line with changing project demands.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Project Managers, Customers, Design/Development teams, and Purchasing/Suppliers to meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement Quality strategies, ensuring the success and completion of all allocated projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree [or equivalent] in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or experience in Defence, Electronics or similarly complex industries.
  • Proven track record of applying Quality Tools, such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification, Validation and First Article Inspection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
