Executive Child Nutrition Specialist

Busy Bees Day Nursery and Preschool in Chatham is seeking an experienced Assistant Nursery Chef to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for cooking and preparing high-quality meals and snacks for our children, ensuring their nutritional needs are met while maintaining exceptional food safety standards.
About the Position
This role involves working Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week. You will be required to follow a NHS accredited meal plan that changes seasonally, providing our children with a varied and healthy diet throughout the day. The position also includes benefits such as a competitive salary of £12 per hour, 28 days' holiday per year, childcare discounts, and access to health and wellbeing apps.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Cooking and preparing high-quality meals and snacks for our children
- Maintaining exceptional food safety standards and adhering to regulations
- Following safe working practices for children and staff, and complying with Busy Bees' food hygiene and safety policies
- Complying with company procedures relating to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
