Job Title: Learning Support Specialists

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Looked After Children (LAC). As a Learning Support Specialist, you will play a meaningful role in making a positive impact on young lives by providing tailored educational support to help each child thrive in their academic journey.

The estimated salary for this role is £35-£45 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, personalized tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects based on each child's needs, abilities, and educational goals.
• Work closely with council staff, school personnel, caregivers, and other relevant professionals to ensure a holistic support approach.
• Monitor and report on student progress and adapt teaching methods to address any emerging needs.
• Provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment to foster learning and boost each child's confidence and independence.

Essential Criteria:
• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, ideally with experience supporting children with SEN and/or LAC.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and caregivers.
• Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality, particularly in working with vulnerable children.
