The annual salary for this position is expected to range from £35,400 to £43,800 per annum, based on a 37-hour workweek, which translates to approximately £85-£100 per day when working full-time.


 


Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Academic Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to learners, ensuring they receive the guidance and resources needed to excel in their studies. This role involves collaborating with teaching staff to maintain continuity of learning, utilizing excellent organizational and communication skills to manage challenging situations effectively.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Provide individualized support to learners, addressing their academic needs and promoting overall well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure seamless coordination of support services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine programs, policies, and procedures that promote academic excellence and social responsibility.

  • An Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in a similar setting, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
