Electronics Measurement and Test Solutions Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Measurement and Test Engineer to join our team in Derby, working on a hybrid schedule. This role involves ensuring that Rolls-Royce has suitable measurement capability, solutions, and resulting data for our products to meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

In this position, you will be part of a team focused on developing innovative measurement systems, instrumentation, and sensors with a focus on electronics hardware and software design.

  • You will define appropriate instrumentation and measurement system solutions, ensuring they deliver valid data to the declared levels of uncertainty and integrity.
  • You will develop potential concepts and use engineering design methods to determine the best product solution.
  • You will work with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams to configure and maintain product and component testing arrangements.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have significant experience working in similar engineering roles, preferably with a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Experience with both software and hardware development is essential, and ideally, you have experience with electronics design and test development of electronics measurement equipment and products.
