About the Role

The Content Author role at Pearson is responsible for producing high-quality assessment materials that align with subject specifications and meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop error-free, factually accurate assessments that meet the demands of the current specification.
  • Ensure assessment materials comply with the Global Content Policy, accessibility guidelines, and sensitivity guidelines.
  • Advising on subject specialist matters throughout the production process and providing feedback where necessary.
  • Producing assessment materials to ensure they meet the level of demand, and the questions are clear, fit for purpose, and error-free.
  • Providing accurate sources used and, where applicable, so that Pearson can request copyright permission to use the material.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the specific content area, assessments, and curriculum development.
  • Proven ability to provide and co-ordinate training, as well as lead quality assurance activities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
