Senior Ecologist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ecologist to join our Planning & Environmental team at RPS Group. As a Senior Ecologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-profile projects and providing expert ecological advice to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage ecological surveys and assessments for various projects
- Develop and implement ecological mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery
- Provide expert ecological advice to clients and stakeholders
- Conduct field visits and surveys to gather data and information
- Prepare and present reports and findings to clients and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with relevant environmental policies and legislation
Requirements
- Degree-level qualification in Ecological-related subject (minimum 2:1 preferred)
- CIEEM or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in ecological consulting and project management
- Strong knowledge of environmental policies and legislation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
