About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Shaftesbury West. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support to individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, including dementia.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and encouragement to our service users, taking direction from both the individual and their person-centred support plan. You will also be required to maintain accurate records, administer personal care and medication as needed, and participate in sleep-in sessions.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Support Worker who is passionate about providing person-centred care and support, and who is committed to promoting inclusion and wellbeing. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team. You will also have a strong understanding of the needs and preferences of individuals with disabilities, and be able to provide support and encouragement in a way that is tailored to each individual's needs.
