Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a motivated and caring Radiology Department Assistant to join our team in East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support and compassionate care to patients, as well as assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight
- Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse
- Ensure that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing
- Assist patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment as a Radiology Department Assistant within the last 3 years, and they will be required to maintain confidentiality and adhere to NHS policies and procedures at all times.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience, and you will be entitled to a range of benefits including flexible working hours, access to training and development opportunities, and a comprehensive induction program.
