Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Elsdon Group in Birmingham. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of our road and air freight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Coordination: Manage the entire shipment lifecycle, from booking to delivery, including route planning, carrier selection, and documentation.
  • Customer Liaison: Build strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and proactively addressing their logistics needs.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the supply chain.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations and industry standards, including customs and import/export procedures.

Requirements:
