Job Title: Field Service Engineer, Mass Spectrometry

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at TRS Consulting. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide scientific, technical, and training support to clients
  2. Investigate and troubleshoot queries related to Mass Spectrometry and Liquid Chromatography systems
  3. Collect and analyze data to ensure optimal system performance
  4. Handle customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
  5. Collaborate with the sales, service, marketing, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience as a laboratory technician or scientist with extensive experience of using High Performance Liquid Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry systems
  2. Or as a Field Service Engineer, Applications Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer working on a range of High Performance Liquid Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry systems
  3. Ideal candidate will have an HNC, HND, or BSc in a life science or engineering discipline
  4. Minimum of 2 years experience with life sciences instrumentation
  5. Full UK driving license
  6. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with external customers and internal departments
