Job Title: Experienced Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing scientific, technical, and training support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and troubleshoot queries related to Mass Spectrometry and Liquid Chromatography systems
  • Collect and analyze data to ensure optimal system performance
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Work closely with the sales, service, marketing, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a laboratory technician or scientist with extensive experience of using High Performance Liquid Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry systems
  • Or as a Field Service Engineer, Applications Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer working on a range of High Performance Liquid Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry systems
  • Ideally you will be educated with an HNC, HND, or BSc in a life science or engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with life sciences instrumentation
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with external customers and internal departments
