Our client, a leading construction firm in the UK, is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their team. As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in the management and distribution of all drawings and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer the document control system to ensure seamless document flow and compliance with industry standards.
  • Upload and maintain up-to-date site drawings, registers, and documentation.
  • Print, photocopy, collate, and issue drawings as required.
  • Manage external distribution and recording of documentation release.
  • Manage, record, and distribute incoming documents.
  • Maintain a central record of documents using codes and perform quality checks on all projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing the Document Control process, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Efficient knowledge of using Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to work independently, and be a team player.
