About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Accountancy Cloud. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance and support to our clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing proactive and excellent service to tech startups and other businesses.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide business advisory services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Manage the monthly accounting process, including bookkeeping, VAT, PAYE, and CT600 delivery.
  • Prepare year-end statutory annual accounts for filing and returns to Companies House.
  • Onboard new clients, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Implement and maintain OKR frameworks to drive business growth and development.
Requirements
  • Finalist or newly qualified ACCA/ACA.
  • 2-3 years of practice experience, with a focus on accounting for OMBs/SMEs.
  • Xero or QuickBooks experience is highly desirable.
