**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Care and Support Professional to join our team at United Response.

About the Role:

  • To empower individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, and complex needs to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
  • To build strong, trusting relationships with service users and support them in achieving their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes or community settings.
  • Assisting with daily routines, such as personal care and household tasks.
  • Encouraging independence and promoting self-advocacy skills.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies to ensure seamless support and services.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with people with learning disabilities and/or Autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexibly and respond to changing situations.
  • Possess a non-judgemental and empathetic approach.
