Geography Examiner Opportunity

Pearson is seeking a skilled Geography Examiner to join our team of subject matter experts. As an Examiner, you will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
  • Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
  • Ensure all administration is completed as specified

Requirements:

  • One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years
  • A degree or equivalent
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme
