Job Title: Project Manager – Infrastructure

Overview: We are seeking a seasoned project manager to lead the delivery of capital infrastructure projects that support the transformation and modernisation of shipbuilding on the Clyde.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day project management of capital infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Participate in the procurement and ongoing management of consultants and contractors as necessary to deliver the scope of works.
  • Hold budget accountability and responsibility for progress reporting.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration to manage project teams across different areas of the business.
  • Build and maintain effective liaison with all groups involved in project delivery to ensure all requirements are met and issues are resolved effectively.

Requirements:

  • Experienced professional with extensive knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and practices.
  • Knowledge of construction and infrastructure projects and associated forms of contract.
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple smaller projects as part of an overall portfolio.

Our Naval Ships Capital Investments team manages cross-functional projects critical to the shipbuilding process at our Govan and Scotstoun sites. This role offers the opportunity to lead multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring our capabilities meet current and future demands.
