Job Title: Systems Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team at Page Personnel Finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and a knack for technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the company's financial systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
  • Support the team in budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Participate in system upgrades and implementation projects, driving process improvements and efficiency.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business needs, leveraging strong analytical skills.
  • Collaborate with other departments in the organisation, fostering a culture of teamwork and communication.
  • Comply with all regulations and standards in the not-for-profit sector, ensuring compliance and risk management.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of using financial systems and databases, with excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a positive and inclusive attitude.
