Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance and streamline financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead financial system projects and initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Partner with IT and Finance teams to drive system improvements and ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide system training and support to the Finance team to ensure they are equipped to use the systems effectively.
  • Manage data quality and integrity within financial systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop and implement system-related policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities through the use of financial systems to ensure informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • An Accountancy Qualification (CIMA/ CIPFA/ ACA/ ACCA) is essential for this role.
  • Proven experience in financial systems and processes improvement is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and best practices is necessary.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in financial software systems, are essential.
