About the Role

Recruit A Driver is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our team. As a Class 1 or 2 driver, you will be responsible for safely unloading vehicles at customer premises and ensuring that delivery vehicles are maintained to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises
  • Drive either Class 1 or 2 vehicles
  • Check load security and weight distribution according to latest safe working practices
  • Maintain delivery vehicles to company standards

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 or 2 UK license for a minimum of 12 months
  • Experience driving a Class 1 or 2 vehicle within the last six months
  • Valid ADR certification
  • No more than 6 points on license for minor offenses
  • In-date Digital Tachograph Card
  • Up-to-date CPC Qualification Card
