Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and administrative services, ensuring efficient and timely processing of payable transactions, and maintaining a high level of service to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate processing of all supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring compliance with financial controls and procedures.
  • Review and coding of invoices, providing clear and concise descriptions of goods and services provided.
  • Processing of personal and prepay/credit card expense claims in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Creation of weekly supplier and employee personal expense payment runs, and management of unreconciled bank transactions.
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring reconciling items are resolved or escalated.
  • Management of query ticketing system and weekly review of aged creditor reports to eliminate risk and drive performance.
  • Willingness to cover others when team members are out of the office or have been requested to work on other tasks.
  • Perform month-end tasks and reconciliations in line with the timetable.
  • Ensure all transactions are processed in line with relevant controls and meet audit compliance.
  • Identify potential process improvements and contribute to a high standard, continuous improvement culture.
  • Provide analytical, administrative, and project support to the Finance department and management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/general finance.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting procedures and financial controls.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically with Excel.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and communication (verbal and written).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving organization.
  • Experience working in a multi-national company/matrix environment.
