Cleanliness and Environmental Compliance Specialist

Cranswick Country Foods PLC is seeking a highly motivated Cleanliness and Environmental Compliance Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the site's operational staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness of the site, both internally and externally, adhering to the company's colour coding system.
- Ensure general housekeeping duties are completed efficiently.
- Comply with current Health & Safety legislation and implement a proactive approach to ensuring a safe working environment.
- Support the management team in conducting site safety inspections and ensure all procedures and risk assessments (RA) are upheld.
- Handle chemicals safely on site and store them correctly.
- Use equipment and chemicals as instructed.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping to guarantee product quality, safety, and compliance with legal standards.
- Maintain the site's appearance by keeping it free from debris, both internally and externally.
- Take a proactive approach to addressing environmental issues, such as spills.
- Support the management team in conducting site environmental inspections and ensure all environmental procedures and RA are complied with.
- Previous experience in FMCG manufacturing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Awareness of customer standards.
- Ability to meet job requirements.
The salary for this position is approximately £11.78 per hour.
