About the Role

We are seeking industry specialists to become Mechanical Instructors, teaching the next generation of engineers. As an instructor, you will spend time with groups of learners, developing their knowledge, skills, and behaviours to become industry experts.

The position is based at our Hull centre, however, a driving licence with access to own transport is required as travelling between centres may be necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Promoting and supporting apprenticeships across engineering study and apprentice programmes
  • Delivering regulated qualifications (full training and support will be provided)
Requirements

To succeed as an instructor, you should have experience in:

  • Mechanical maintenance engineering
  • Safe use of hand tools
  • Hydraulics and/or pneumatics
  • Health & safety practices and procedures
  • Desirable but not essential - CAD

You must have:

  • A minimum of Level 3 Engineering qualification
  • Good interpersonal and computer skills
  • The desire to teach, enrich, and empower learners using personal and industrial experiences
