About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at Pertemps TM. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational support to students in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in a classroom setting, ensuring they complete assigned tasks and activities.
  • Manage student behavior, adhering to school policies and procedures.
  • Respond to student inquiries and provide guidance as needed.
  • Address any immediate issues or emergencies, following school protocols.
  • Collect completed work and return it to teachers.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and any issues that arose during lessons.
Requirements
  • Hold a good standard of written and spoken English.
  • Have the ability to develop curriculum knowledge.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be computer literate and able to use educational software.
  • Have experience working as a Cover Supervisor in the UK, or as a Teaching Assistant with relevant experience.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have a strong passion for supporting student learning and development.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing student needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Welsh language proficiency.
  • Experience working in a Welsh medium school.
