About the Role

This position is responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals to children attending the nursery. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nutritionally balanced meals for all children, catering for specific dietary needs, and instilling good food hygiene practices.
  • They will also be responsible for maintaining stock levels, ensuring stock rotation, and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Additional responsibilities include ensuring all children are safe and have stimulating experiences, and being aware of COSHH guidelines and following relevant procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have a Level 2 qualification in Food and Hygiene, a minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar role, and a good understanding of health and safety regulations and COSHH.
