Chemotherapy Treatment Nurse

Leaders in Care, a forward-thinking team dedicated to making a difference in patients' lives, is seeking a skilled nurse to join their team in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a Chemotherapy Treatment Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering oncology treatments to patients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
This role offers a comprehensive package, including an annual salary of up to £43,000, negotiable based on experience, a company car or £4,850 car allowance, mileage covered, NMC fees paid, contributory pension scheme, private healthcare cover, and continuous training and career progression opportunities.
Responsibilities Include:
• Administering IV and oral chemotherapy treatments
• Conducting blood tests and toxicity assessments
• Managing pump disconnections and line care
• Performing IM/SC injections
• Collaborating with a wider nursing team while working independently
• Staying updated with new technologies and therapies
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
• An active NMC Pin as a Registered RGN Nurse
• Essential experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy
• Skills in cannulation and venepuncture
• A valid driving licence
• A SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
