Production Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Activity Coordinator to join our team at Innospec Inc.
Job Summary:The Production Activity Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating daily activities, managing raw materials, and ensuring optimal utilization of storage tanks and ISOs. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with production teams to optimize workflow and resource allocation
- Monitor production progress and address any issues or delays promptly
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environment standards
- Lead the implementation of shopfloor management programs to ensure daily operations are compliant with SHE requirements
- Manage inventory and movement of raw materials within designated areas
- Coordinate with the supply chain and manufacturing logistics team to ensure timely material delivery
- Ensure logistics planning of raw materials, product despatches, product repacking, waste removal, and isotanks aligns with production schedules
- Conduct safety checks and inspections within designated areas
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately
- Ensure plant and processes comply with 'management of change' documentation
- Ensure production schedules are adjusted to accommodate planned maintenance activities
- Ensure stock accuracy, inventory turnover, and reduced stock discrepancies
- Ensure timely response to production issues and effective collaboration with production teams
Candidates will possess the following minimum qualifications and qualities:
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Strong organizational, time management skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles
