Production Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Activity Coordinator to join our team at Innospec Inc.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities, managing raw materials, and ensuring optimal utilization of storage tanks and ISOs. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with production teams to optimize workflow and resource allocation
- Monitor production progress and address any issues or delays promptly
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environment standards
- Lead the implementation of shopfloor management programs to ensure daily operations are compliant with SHE requirements
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory and movement of raw materials within designated areas, ensuring the right raw materials are in the right place and in the right amount to achieve production schedules.
- Implement inventory control measures to optimize storage and minimize waste
- Coordinate with the supply chain and manufacturing logistics team to ensure timely material delivery
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring logistics planning is aligned and adherent to production planning, including raw materials, product despatches, product repacking, waste removal, and isotank internal arrangement.
- Conduct safety checks and inspections within designated areas
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production schedules are adjusted to accommodate planned maintenance activities, and coordinating production and maintenance for Performance Chemicals Manufacturing Facilities.
- Set priorities for maintenance resource allocation against production demands for Performance Chemical areas
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, stock turnover, and reduced stock discrepancies.
Communication Effectiveness:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely response to production issues and effective collaboration with production teams.
Candidates will possess the following minimum qualifications and qualities:
- Experience in manufacturing or production environment
- Strong organizational, time management skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles
