As a key member of our Corporate Governance function, you will play a critical role in assisting our Directors to comply with applicable corporate governance requirements, corporate law, and regulation.

About the Role:

As Head of Corporate Governance, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of timely and value-added company secretarial advice and support for our Boards, Committees, Directors, and senior managers. You will also act as Company Secretary for relevant subsidiary companies and provide advice to the Board on all corporate governance and company secretarial matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Company Secretarial team and ensure the successful management of all resources within the agreed budget.
  • Provide high-quality corporate governance advice and assurance to our Directors and senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement governance and best practice policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the corporate governance and company secretarial landscape and provide guidance and input into the development of corporate governance practices.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience delivering high-quality Corporate Governance Services, preferably within a FTSE100/250 organisation and ideally within the financial services industry/regulated environment.
  • Extensive experience delivering high-quality Company Secretarial and Corporate Governance support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement experience at all levels, particularly with executive and non-executive Board Directors.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing a high-performing team.
