About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a large SEN school in Lewisham. The successful candidate will work closely with a vulnerable pupil with complex needs and Autism, providing targeted support and implementing strategies to enhance their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to the pupil in the classroom and outside of lessons
  • Deliver movement breaks, reward time, and sensory stimulating play to promote engagement and learning
  • Liaise with the Inclusion Manager to implement strategies in the pupil's Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plan
  • Manage behavioral provision for the pupil and work on their social/emotional skills
  • Accompany the pupil to relevant therapy sessions
