About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Vision Teaching. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher in providing high-quality education to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the classroom teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to meet the needs of students with SEN.
  • Observe and assess students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN when required.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working within a classroom as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the National Curriculum and its implementation.
  • Desirable: Experience working with children in a school setting.
